Traffic Control Plans

For construction work including replacement of deteriorating power poles and other maintenance services, WCEP, Inc. can generate temporary traffic control plans in order to safely guide all pedestrians and vehicular traffic accordingly. The traffic control plans also ensure the safety of workers and proper clearances for use of heavy equipment.

Plans are prepared according to local agency or city requirements and meet the standards and specifications of the State of California Department of Transportation.

Plans are drafted on the AutoCAD software program and are verified and stamped by a PE.

Traffic Control Plans will include the following:

  • Lane closures

  • Lane restrictions

  • Pavement markings

  • Warning signs

  • Temporary barricades

  • Adjacent roadway work

  • Other traffic disruptions

All traffic control plans undergo an extensive QA/QC process before being submitted to a PE for review and stamping.
